“Artificial Intelligence and a New Approach in Education: Personalized Learning
(What we think, read, hear, and observe) – #8
In a rapidly changing world, learning is no longer limited to a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. It is evident that every individual has unique strengths and weaknesses, different learning interests, and distinct goals. This makes an individualized and differentiated approach to each learner essential in education. Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has no alternative in personalized learning. First and foremost, AI makes learning more engaging and effective by creating learning plans tailored to individual needs. As a system capable of performing tasks that normally require human intelligence, AI analyzes large volumes of data, learns from them, and applies this knowledge to new situations. By collecting data from various sources, it creates personalized learning experiences that evolve in line with a learner’s educational progress. AI can also analyze the interaction between learners and educational content, identify potential learning difficulties, and implement appropriate interventions. Importantly, many AI platforms allow learners to set personal goals, enabling learning plans to be aligned with their aspirations as well.
Thus, Personalized Learning is a process that corresponds to the unique learning characteristics of each individual and offers numerous advantages:
