UNEC students achieved a major success at the final stage of the international robotics competition “Robotex International 2025,” held in Tallinn, the capital of the Republic of Estonia, where they proudly represented Azerbaijan.
In the highly competitive final round, which brought together 921 teams from 32 countries, the “UNECode” team, composed of students from UNEC’s Faculty of Digital Economy, competed against 56 teams in the Stoneridge Entrepreneurship Challenge category. Demonstrating an innovative approach and strong professional skills, the UNEC team secured fifth place worldwide and first place both nationally and within the region.
With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the “UNECode” team included third year students of the Faculty of Digital Economy: Ashurbey Mammadzada, Ali Safarli, Mahammad Mardanov, Zahid Tazakhanov, and Tofig Aliyev.
