Jeyhun Aziz oghlu Bayramov, originally from Narimankand village of Gadabay, was born in 1973 in Baku.
He graduated from secondary school with a silver medal in 1990.
He completed his studies in economics at the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute and in law at Azerbaijan University.
From 1996 to 2000, he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Taxes.
In 2000-2002, he was a lawyer at Salans Hertzfeld & Heilbronn (Baku) Limited, and from 2002 to 2013 he served as Director of the “OMNI” law firm.
Between 2004 and 2012, he was annually listed among Azerbaijan’s leading lawyers in taxation and civil law by internationally recognized legal publications such as Chambers Global, IFLR1000, and Legal500.
From 30 May to 12 August 2013, he served as Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
By Presidential Order dated 12 August 2013, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Education.
By Presidential Order dated 23 April 2018, he was appointed Minister of Education.
By Presidential Order dated 16 July 2020, he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He is married and has two children.
