For the first time, UNEC has been granted equivalency status with Greek higher education institutions by the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Education’s authority responsible for the recognition of academic titles and information.
As a result, UNEC graduates are able to benefit from this equivalency status when pursuing employment or academic activities in Greece, a member state of the European Union.

Within the framework of the joint master’s degree program, international students are taught not only by faculty members of the partner university but also by UNEC academic staff, who are assigned to Greece twice a year to participate in the delivery of courses.

Diplomas awarded to graduates of the program bear the signatures of both the Rector of the University of Western Macedonia and the Rector of UNEC.
