PURPOSE. Determination of the concentration of heavy substances in soil and air; conducting soil structure analyses; determining granulometric composition; measuring hygroscopic moisture in water, soil, and air; determining the content of humus, nitrogen, exchangeable potassium, and the sum of absorbed bases; teaching methods for the determination and calculation of CaCO₃ based on CO₂; conducting practical classes; improving students’ skills; and carrying out educational and scientific research activities (training, teaching, and research).
