UNEC to Host the 2nd International Conference of Researchers in Economics and Social Sciences

On December 4-5, 2025, the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) will host the 2nd International Conference of Researchers in Economics and Social Sciences (ICRESS-2025) on the theme “Sustainable Development and the Innovation Economy.”

Scholarly papers related to the conference theme are invited for submission in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, or English languages. Submissions should be sent via email to icress@unec.edu.az no later than November 15, 2025.

Conference sections will cover the following topics:

Sustainable development and social innovations;
Innovation policy and state support mechanisms;
Challenges of sustainable regional development;
Innovative economy and international competitiveness;
Sustainable economy and efficient resource management;
Sustainable development: statistical measurement of innovation and social welfare;
Sustainable and innovative development in Azerbaijan;
Environmental issues and the circular economy;
Green development and transition to a green economy.

Only the papers of authors who present their work in person or online will be published in the conference proceedings.
