General Provisions
1. The Department is a structural unit of the Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Studies (IAETI) operating under UNEC and is subordinate to the University Rector and the Institute’s administration.
2. In its activities, the Department adheres to the legislation and regulatory documents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UNEC’s internal regulations, orders and directives of the University leadership, decisions of the Academic Council, and performs its functions on the basis of the Institute’s work plans and assignments of the administration.
3. The Department is accountable to the University and Institute leadership for its activities.
Functions of the Department
• Ensuring the timely and proper implementation of the approved Research Plan;
• Coordinating research activities related to macroeconomic issues conducted by other organizations in the Republic;
• The results of the Department’s scientific activities shall be summarized in the form of reports, presentations, and analytical briefs, and submitted to the University and Institute leadership.
The Department submits a report on its activities to the Institute’s management at the end of each quarter and presents its work plan for the following year.
